Building the DIGNITY approach, or the therapy for the problem

The project’s innovative concept and approach will demonstrate how the inclusive design of digital mobility products and services, combined with the organisation of an appropriate public-private governance structure, can mitigate and reduce social exclusion within the digital travel eco-system. DIGNITY will propose new methodologies and adapt existing approaches to bridge the digital gap in metropolitan and regional contexts.  Starting with an assessment of digital transport supply and demand and the quantification of the existing digital divide, DIGNITY will combine proven co-design methodologies with the principles of forward-looking analysis, enabling end users to contribute to a more inclusive design of digital mobility solutions and making them part of the formulation of long-term strategies for a user-friendly and inclusive digital transport system.
